Hi Everyone! I will be sending out a newsletter with a trip checklist soon. Please let me know if you have any questions about the trip. Lets get a conversation going on the trip - this is a great way to get to know each other!!!! I want to hear your thoughts and questions! Happy Diving!!
I am looking forward to joining your group-Have lived and snorkeled in Hawaii and Puerto Rico and absolutely fell in love with life under the water. Love your new website and looking forward to making new friends.
Rena, Great to see your online presence growing. I have a future trip request. How about doing a California, channel islands, long weekend trip. I have wanted to do this for a while, it's cheap, and it would be fun to do with fellow Nebraskans...
I am looking forward in starting your class this Sunday. My Ortho doctor said it wold be good theraphy for my hip. He is also going to Cozumel on Macrh 13th with wife and kids to scuba dive. I told him we may see him there.
I also look forward to our class on Sunday - we have a group of four new divers. This is going to be a great trip!!!! (Who is your doc)?
Hi Rena! Brian and I are heading to Costa Rica in April. Can't wait to dive! Have you had a chance to dive Costa Rica? Can you recommend anyone to dive with? Also-you know how cold I get...should I take a 5mm suit? The websites I've been looking at suggest 3mm-5mm for the dry season (April) but I HATE to get cold. What do you think?
Hello all! I would like to request that my fellow scuba divers post your favorite dive or the thing you love most about diving! I look forward to seeing everyone's response! Happy Diving! Rena
Hi Everyone! I am offering Black Friday pricing this week on scuba stocking stuffers! Are you looking for some little things to show your diver that you are thinking of him/her? How about a small bottle of defog, a magnetic octo holder or a neoprene mask strap cover to prevent hair tangling? We also have fins, masks, snorkels, BCDs, wetsuits, boots…..everything your diver needs to have a great holiday! Call me and we can chat about ideas! Happy Diving! Rena
I met Rena at work. I have always been been enamored by the ocean. My husband and I attended Rena's Scuba School and were certified with Rena in Cozumel Mexico in 2010. It has absolutely opened up my world. I have made great friends and met alot of interesting people. I always have scuba to look forward to when life gets a little challenging. By the way the group is a blast to hang with.
Here in the midwest our weather sometimes has a bit to be desired, however, the near below zero temps did not deter a group of new divers Sat, Dec 7, 2013! What a great group and great fun at Kirn Jr High/YMCA Community Pool! A good time was had by all! Check out the pictures posted on FB at Rena's School and Travel and Rena Wolfe Muir's site! There is still time to buy gear, stocking stuffers or even s scuba experience for your loved ones! Happy Diving and thanks for the new friendships we made today!
Happy Spring! Wow has mother nature put a wrench in our ideas of warmer weather. At least we know that the snow coming down this time of year won't last TOO LONG???? We hope! After this winter, we don't know what to think here in the midwest! We are all getting cabin fever and wanting to head to the nearest lake, pond or ocean to get our scuba kits wet!!!!
A group of 19 just returned from Cozumel in March. We had a great time, with several divers earning their PADI Advanced Open Water Certification. Congratulations to Lori Watson, Lori Kilstrom, Tammi Cisler, Christine Gladman, Rusty Gladman and Kevin Bell ! We also had one student, Shannon Roth earn her PADI Open Water Certification! Congratulations to all of you!
Dale Watson and Sam Muir continue to work on their Assistant Instructor and will be there before you know it!
The next trip is coming up soon to Cozumel. If you want to swim with Whalesharks, call me soon, so we can make the arrangements for late July early August time frame.
We also have a few trips coming up in 2015 to either FIJI or Palau and in 2016 we are planning to head to the Galapagos Islands! Remember to put your reservation in early to ensure you have a spot on the boat!
What trip did you go on this past year? I want to hear all about it!
It is May! By this time our weather should be better, but it is a slow start this year. We are planning a trip to Beaver Lake, Arkansas June 13, 14, 15. This is a weekend trip but you can get a few dives in and those of you working on your specialties and advanced, can log some cool dives! I need to make reservations soon though, so if you are interested, let me know ASAP!
Hello Everyone! We have just returned from Cozumel, Mexico one of the best sites to dive in the world! We saw some great reef and of course turtles, nurse sharks, eels and so many other beautiful things. My GoPro 3+ received a workout! I would love to hear about your experiences with underwater photography and video!
Tell the world about your first dives, your 100th dive!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
